R & D >Cross Linked PE
Cross-linked polyethylene, commonly abbreviated PEX or XLPE, is a form of polyethylene with cross-links. It is formed into tubing, and is used predominantly in hydronic radiant heating systems, domestic water piping and insulation for high tension (high voltage) electrical cables. It is also used for natural gas and offshore oil applications, chemical transportation, and transportation of sewage and slurries. Recently, it has become a viable alternative to polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) or copper pipe for use as residential water pipes.

In order to provide strong research and development base for current products line and new products offer, we have the first-rate and experienced technical engineers doing research on cross linked polyethylene technology, for example, we have advanced Haake Ploydrive Mixer evaluating the rheology behavior of polymers, ploydrive extruder to evalute and determine the behavior of mixing and extruding of polymers, facilities for studying thermal performances of polymer, facilities for evaluation of aging behavior of polymers, facilities for RoHS testing and facilities for mechanical performance testing and so on.
